At Park River Area School, we know that learning goes beyond academics—it’s also about building strong character and emotional skills. That’s why our Extended School Program (ESP) is excited to use the Kindhearted Kids curriculum, a fun and engaging way to teach kindness, responsibility, respect, empathy, and citizenship to our students!
What is Kindhearted Kids?
This program helps children ages 7-11 develop important life skills through hands-on learning. Each student "adopts" a stuffed dog or cat, using it to practice caring, kindness, and responsibility.
Why It Matters
By participating in Kindhearted Kids, students learn how to be more thoughtful, caring, and responsible—skills that help them at school, at home, and in the community. Research shows that social-emotional learning improves behavior, friendships, and overall success in school!
We are so excited to bring this program to our students and watch them grow into kindhearted leaders of tomorrow! ❤️
