State speech results from Miss Ulland! Henry placed 9th with his entertain and Tanner and Gavin placed 3rd in their serious duo! Lexi Shirek also picked up a superior speaker award in Serious Prose and Tanner got superior speaker in storytelling! All State - A student wins an all state award by picking up 4 legs throughout a competition season. Qualifying legs include *region play qualifying for state *superior actor at regionals *superior actor at state *several debate items we don't compete in *placing in the top 20% of a speech category (cannot repeat categories) *qualifying for state speech (cannot repeat categories) Since I have started working at PRAS, we have not had a student qualify for all state...until this year. And what's better than 1? How about 3?! Congratulations to Tanner, Gavin, and Alexis for all the work they put in throughout both their seasons to qualify for this award!!

The Senior class field trip last Tuesday-Thursday was a success!! Since this year’s graduating class didn’t get to go to Wolfridge, we took them to Winnipeg! The class: • attended a Winnipeg Jets game • explored The Forks (and some of us met Winnipeg Jets player Nikolaj Ehlers!) • participated in escape rooms (all groups successfully got out!!) • went to the Assiniboine Zoo (where we saw some polar bears eat lunch) • went to the Human Rights Museum
The students and chaperones all had a great time 💛
